The problem

EU companies are drowning in sustainability regulation

10 overlapping EU sustainability directives are live or entering force in 2026. Legal teams charge €500/hour. Generic compliance checklists are useless for 90% of companies. The 10% who do need to comply often don't know it. VeridiQ changes that.

⚖️

10 regulations, 1 form

CSRD, EUDR, CBAM, SFDR, EmpCo, CSDDD, PPWR, EU Taxonomy, ESPR, EU ETS. Most companies don't know which ones apply.

⏱️

September 2026 is close

EmpCo bans generic green claims from September 27, 2026. EUDR requires deforestation-free proof by December 30, 2026. No transition period.

💡

Compliance has an upside

CSRD unlocks green bond financing. EUDR-certified supply chains command 5–15% price premiums. CSDDD data reduces supply chain costs by 3–8%.

How to use VeridiQ

Click "Launch App" and navigate to Company Profile. Fill in your company name, select your headquarters country (if EU-based), choose your primary sectors, and enter employee count and annual revenue. The wizard walks you through 4 short steps. When finished, click "Analyse exposure" — results appear within 2 seconds.
The Regulation Map groups all 10 EU sustainability regulations into three categories: Immediate action required (in force or deadline within months), Prepare now (active preparation required in 2026), and Monitor (relevant but no immediate action needed). Click any card to expand it and see the primary risk, key opportunity, deadline, and 3 priority actions.
Navigate to Claims Validator and paste any marketing text, packaging copy, press release, or website content. Click "Validate claims". The tool analyses each phrase against the EmpCo Directive criteria and returns: a compliance score (0–100), a list of prohibited phrases with severity ratings, the specific rule violated, a penalty risk estimate, and a compliant alternative. You can also try pre-loaded sample texts.
The AI Assistant requires Ollama running locally with a compatible model (llama3.2 recommended). Navigate to the AI Assistant page and type any question about EU sustainability law. Click a starter question to see example responses. The assistant cites specific regulation articles and directive clauses where possible.
In the app, click the language flag in the top-right corner of any page. Choose from English 🇬🇧, German 🇩🇪, Romanian 🇷🇴, or Italian 🇮🇹. The selection is saved to your browser and persists across sessions. Your company profile and analysis results are preserved when switching languages.
VeridiQ stores your company profile and analysis results in your browser's local storage and in a local PostgreSQL database. No data is sent to third-party servers. The AI assistant runs entirely on your machine via Ollama. You can reset your profile at any time from the sidebar.
When you click a regulation card to expand it, three tabs appear: Summary shows a plain-language description of what the regulation means for your business, a risk box, an opportunity box, and a Linked Regulations panel showing how the regulation connects to others. What to Do lists numbered action steps, each showing the legal article reference (e.g. Art. 4, Annex II) as a chip below the step. A link at the bottom takes you to the full Action Plan for that regulation. Changes shows a chronological timeline of every official amendment, delay, and threshold change, each rated high / medium / low impact. The Changes tab badge turns amber when there are changes in the last 12 months.
Professional and Business plan users can create multiple company profiles. Use the company switcher in the sidebar to switch between profiles. Each company has its own regulation map, action plan progress, task evidence, compliance reports, and alert settings — all stored separately in PostgreSQL. Data is persisted across browser sessions automatically.
